As a new mom eighteen years ago, it was important for me to make sure my son learned about God, how to pray, and the importance of prayer from a young age. My husband and I wanted to also encourage our son's dependency on God through prayer. This desire birthed the Father I Pray prayer cards for children in Elementary and Kindergarten age groups.

As the years have gone by, I have evolved from being the mom of a toddler to being the mom of a teenager, and this is definitely a different territory (if you're a parent/guardian of a teenager, I'm sure you will agree). The teenage years bring diverse changes, including– but not limited to– physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. Teenagers find themselves asking questions about their identity, their place in society, their relationships, etc. Unfortunately, there are so many voices eager to give answers to our teenagers– answers that will not lead them on the right path in life.

This season of "figuring things out" and exploring can be quite daunting for parents and teens. However, there is awesome news: God has EXACTLY all the right answers to the pressing questions that teenagers may have!

With this in mind, I have created the Father I Pray Teens devotional to help every teenager build a strong relationship with God and discover the answers that will establish their confidence, renew their minds, and put them on the path to sustainable success as they navigate their way in the world!
